Blackstone Waterhouse is proud to announce that our own has been shortlisted for one the legal industry’s most prestigious awards.

Veno Panicker has been shortlisted as a finalist to win [Partner of the Year] at the 2018 Australian Law Awards, hosted by Lawyers Weekly, Australia’s leading legal news source.

The 18th annual Australian Law Awards, in partnership with UNSW Law, recognises the outstanding contribution of Australia’s top lawyers and legal firms across 33 categories. Winners in the individual categories will automatically be shortlisted for the coveted Lawyers Weekly Excellence Award.

Lawyers Weekly editor, Emma Ryan, said this year’s Australian Law Awards is set to be the biggest yet.

‘The Australian Law Awards is the pinnacle of events for the nation’s legal profession,’ Ms Ryan said. ‘This year’s finalists radiate an outstanding level of professionalism, dedication and drive to take the business of law to greater heights, from the managing partners and general counsel to the barristers, legal scholars and young guns. It is our honour to host this event for the 18th year running.’

Veno Panicker, Partner at Blackstone Waterhouse, is honoured by the nomination:

‘It is exciting to be a finalist for this prestigious award. This recognition is appreciated and is the product of working with my managing partner Danny Arraj and the great team at Blackstone Waterhouse.’

 Danny Arraj commented:
