Aaron is a Consultant in our Construction & Infrastructure team. He is an experienced projects lawyer who understands what drives his clients and their stakeholders. 

Throughout his career, Aaron has worked closely with various project participants including off-takers, developers, contractors, equipment suppliers, landholders, approval authorities, local communities, unions, customs, licensing bodies, tax offices and corporate regulators as well as public and private financiers.

Aaron commenced his legal career at a national Australian law firm, and then served as commercial counsel for a leading Australian property developer and asset manager. Most recently, Aaron served as commercial counsel for the APAC arm of an American solar PV manufacturer, EPC contractor and developer.


  • Advised EPC contractor on delivery of two of Australia’s three largest solar photovoltaic (PV) plants.
  • Advised on successful proponent and equipment supplier bids in the most recent large-scale solar PV grants round run by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA).
  • Advised on development and delivery of a high-penetration utility-scale solar PV plant supplying an Australian mine in order to reduce its reliance on diesel.
  • Advised on development and delivery of two utility-scale solar PV plants in Samoa in furtherance of the Samoan Government commitment to 100% renewable power.
  • Advised on design and construction of large regional shopping centres, industrial estates, retirement villages and residential subdivisions.
  • Advised major works subcontractor on delivery of defence project in Northern Territory.
